Upgrade between classes

On presentation of a Saga Gold card, members will be offered an upgrade to Saga Class when this can be arranged, space permitting. Such upgrades can only be made at check-in at the airport. Please note that at most airports outside Iceland upgrade can only be made at the departure gate. Members are also eligible for this service when travelling on Award tickets.

Spouse Cardholders are only upgraded when traveling with main Cardholder.

Upgrades cannot be ordered in advance, only at check-in. An upgrade can only be offered if full Saga Class service can be provided on board. A Saga Class service is for example a sample of the freshest cuisine in the air, prepared by our prestigious Chaine des Rotisseurs and an excellent selection of wine.

When points are used for upgrade between classes, the upgrade is being done in the service. Passenger can then enjoy the full Saga Class service that is provided.

Terms regarding the original fare, stay the same.
